Visit to the Assembly by St Mary’s Primary School, Bridgend

P9301831 a

During their visit to the Assembly, school pupils from St Mary’s Primary School had the opportunity to quiz the Bridgend AM Carwyn Jones.

Sitting in the old chamber, the school pupils discovered what it was like to be an Assembly Member and the First Minister of Wales. They in turn took the opportunity to ask their own questions.

The questions were wide ranging focussing on fracking, the ban on smoking in public places, decision making and concerns over Bridgend town centre.

There were certainly some budding young politicians of the future.
