Now in its third year the Bridgend Feastival is increasingly popular and celebrates all things foodie. With more than 65 exhibitors taking part Bridgend town centre was alive with the sights, sounds, smells – and of course tastes – of some of the best local and Welsh food and drink around.
Carwyn Jones AM spoke at the opening of the Feastival.
“It is crucial to seek out innovative and engaging ways of improving trade and creating successful economic regeneration in Bridgend. Establishing a unique local identity with niche trades and products can serve both local people and visitors to the area. The success of the Bridgend Feastival grows year on year and highlights the diverse products already on offer from our local traders. It was a pleasure to be invited by Bridgend County Borough Council to set out my vision for regeneration at the opening of the Feastival.”
