If we can help….

Below is the latest seaside news column from Bridgend AM Carwyn Jones:-

In these difficult and uncertain times, please be assured that my team and I continue to work hard on your behalf. Although my office in Bridgend is closed, my staff and I are working from home and we are doing our best to answer all your calls and emails and to share important information through my social media channels.

I am in regular contact with key organisations that are providing support such as Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, Bridgend Council, Welsh Government and South Wales Police together with some local charities. Through various forums, I have raised the issues to which you wanted answers.

I have also taken part in my first online Welsh Assembly Plenary session and have questioned Welsh Ministers directly on your behalf.

Many of you have already got in touch with me to ask questions about testing in Wales, how to get help if you are asked to self -isolate, the difficulty in accessing supermarket delivery slots online and the availability of PPE. Our key workers are working hard, in difficult circumstances, to care for people with coronavirus. It is vital they can do their jobs safely and with confidence.

Stay safe. Stay well.
