It is always a pleasure to see local businesses going from strength to strength. Bridgend based publishing company Seren, will be celebrating their 30th anniversary linking with Bridgend’s Feastival which kicks off on the 30th September.
The Feastival, Bridgend’s alternative food festival, runs from 30th September to 1st October and promises to top the excitement of last year’s Feastival which featured a giant collapsing cauliflower sheep. The Feastival aims to bring local communities together, along with independent Welsh traders, promoting the best of Welsh produce.
Seren, as an independent publisher promotes high quality writing from Welsh authors to universal acclaim, with many authors shortlisted for, and winning literary awards. Seren will be celebrating their achievements on October 1st, featuring a literary trail from the library, bookstalls, open mic sessions and other entertainment.
