As part of TestTown Bridgend, Bridgend AM Carwyn Jones visited the youth enterprise market in Caroline Street, in Bridgend. There were a variety of budding entrepreneurs selling and showcasing their products and services.
The town was selected by Carnegie UK Trust as only one of ten locations in the UK for its 2015 TestTown challenge which aims to give young people aged 16–30 an insight into running their own business.
Mr Jones very much enjoyed looking at the variety of stalls from Fizzy Foam and Galaxy Radio through to Ty Siop Fferm and Draig Valley.
Mr Jones said “It was great to visit the youth enterprise market. There were some great businesses and I enjoyed chatting to the many young entrepreneurs who were selling their products and services. They were very enthusiastic. I wish these young entrepreneurs every success with their future endeavours”.
