Pupils from Litchard Primary School took the opportunity to quiz their local AM and First Minister Carwyn Jones during their school visit to the Senedd in March. The pupils were visiting the Assembly to learn more about the Assembly and to visit the Senedd building. They also had the opportunity to sit in the old debating chamber in Ty Hywel.
Mr Jones said “It was great to meet the group. They sang happy birthday to me in both English and Welsh and had many questions to ask me relating to both my role as the local Assembly Member and as First Minister. I gave them an overview about my work and then asked for their questions. They asked about my school days, my religious beliefs, my hobbies in my spare time, Wales’ football and rugby teams, my career before entering politics and how I use technology in my job. I thoroughly enjoyed their visit.”
